Tough loss

We took one on the chin last Friday at Sherman, 88-59.

They are a very talented team with a deep bench and do a lot of things well. They will probably win their district again and be a contender in the playoffs. It was a very physical game and we weren't ready to play at that level yet, but we will be. Even their coach, who is a friend of mine, told me after the game that a month from now it would be a much different story, and I think he is right. However it is over and behind us, and we will learn from it and move on.

We played them last year at the same time at their place and the same thing happened, and we bounced back after that game and continued to improve. I am confident that we will do the same this year.
